14th National Congress of Gynecologic Endoscopy of the SEGO

Dr. Carmen Baixauli took part as lead surgeon in a live surgery during the congress of the Gynecologic Endoscopy Section of the Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (SEGO). The procedure, broadcast to the audience, was the ablation of a fibroid using radiofrequency.

Dr. Carmen Baixauli took part as a speaker at the CROG congress, a scientific meeting that brings together specialists from all over Spain to discuss the most relevant advances in the field.
The congress, held at the Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe, had the participation of more than 40 experts, who covered key topics in gynecology, assisted reproduction, obstetrics and uterine disease.
In her talk, titled “Indications and results of radiofrequency in fibroids”, she presented her experience with this technique, a minimally invasive alternative that treats uterine fibroids while preserving the uterus, with faster recovery.

A scientific meeting organized by the hospital's Gynecology Department, with a lecture on the technique and three live-broadcast surgical cases. Dr. Carmen Baixauli took part twice in the program:
